Earthwatch Institute (Europe)

A significant part of the Earthwatch mission is to deliver education programmes which raise awareness of environmental issues and the need for scientific research. They believe that sustainable conservation cannot take place without a well-informed public, in which people understand conservation problems and are given the skills and inspiration to contribute to solutions. This is the basis of their Fellowship programmes, where they provide fully funded project places to people from throughout the community.
