We are the largest further and higher education College in Northern Ireland and by far the biggest educational institution in Belfast. We are at the forefront of developing our course provision so that it meets today’s skills needs and anticipate those of the future. This in turn, should you decide to join us, will enable you to gain employment, develop yourself professionally or improve your chances of gaining access to higher education.

Our College mission is to become a ‘centre of learning of excellence’, committed to transforming lives and contributing to the economic well being of Belfast and Northern Ireland. In going forward the Belfast Metropolitan College will focus strongly on three core directions:

  • Put the Learner at the centre of everything we do
  • Deliver the highest Quality possible in all we do
  • Achieve the highest possible Impact on the economic and social well being of individual learners and on Belfast and the region
