Balcas is one of Britain’s and Ireland’s largest wood products suppliers, with a turnover of £58 million. The Group has 700 direct employees; in addition, 300 people are engaged in forest harvesting and haulage. Balcas’ international operations span across seven sites; sawmills in Enniskillen, Magherafelt, Leitrim and Estonia; an architectural mouldings factory in Kildare;and pallet businesses in Newtownabbey and Cork. Balcas’ extensive product portfolio includes construction timber, fencing products,internal mouldings and pallet and packaging products.
