Relatives for Justice invite tenders from suitably qualified persons for delivery of Complementary Therapies to persons bereaved and injured by conflict

Purpose

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT.

Complementary Therapy Programme;

 

Delivering complementary therapies throughout the North of Ireland, maintaining the highest professional standards in supporting and delivering services to victims and survivors of the conflict, according to our recognised model of best practice.

Membership

Relatives for Justice specialises in delivering the complementary therapies to people who have experienced trauma when bereavement or injury has occurred as a result of the conflict.

Confidentiality

 

Due to the sensitivity surrounding the work carried out within Relatives for Justice, complete confidentiality and a non-judgmental approach should be taken at all times.

Tender requirements

To tender please provide:

  • A cover letter detailing your hourly rate inclusive of VAT.
  • A copy of your most updated CV to include professional membership, regulatory membership and current insurance.
  • Evidence of external supervision
  • Tender applicants must include the name, address, telephone number and email addresses of two ccurrent or former employers who may be contacted for references in connection with the proposed contract.

 

Evaluation of proposals:

The Contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous proposal applying the following award criteria, not necessarily in this order:

Roles and responsibilities:

Be part of a team of practitioners who are qualified in a range of complementary therapies and who can work together in assessing needs and delivering individualized treatment plans to RFJ members.

To provide a service that offers holistic and individually tailored care to members who have experienced trauma in a confidential setting.

As a practicing therapist provide one or more therapies for RFJ members

Manage Complementary Therapy and clinic administration, this will include client bookings, and clinic paperwork.

Provide monthly accurate and timely reports for Complementary Therapy Co-coordinator meetings

Liaise with Complementary Therapy Coordinator to prioritize and manage Complementary Therapy referrals to other support services in RFJ

Actively support members and manage bookings and cancellations, contact clients regarding their appointments.

Engage in regular organizational trauma training and required CPD and either already attending or willing to engage in their own personal external supervision

Knowledge of working with victims and survivors of the conflict in a community setting (Continued on next page)

Therapists are required to have access to own transport (as travel will be required), professional insurance, have membership of a professional organisation and one of the following regulatory bodies: CNHC or GRCCT.

There is no allowance for travel or materials so please ensure these costs are covered in the tender price.
