The community audit involves a research process whereby a researcher works with a specified club to develop a community development strategy for the club. The researcher will examine the internal and external stakeholders of the club, its links and opportunities to transform perceptions , begin or further support networks and have a map for being an active contributor in the local area that benefit the club in long term as well. The document consists of the general audit paper and then a timebound action plan addressing aims and issues discovered during the research process, all of which are devised between the club and the researcher and are signed off by the club’s board/committee.
