The Rainbow Project and QUB Researchers seek interviewees

The Rainbow Project

The Rainbow Project

We are working with QUB and NUI Galway to support them on a research project on the sex industry in Northern Ireland and we are specifically looking for anyone who is willing to be interviewed who is or has paid for sex or is or has been paid for sex

QUB are doing research on the sex industry in NI. The background story is the Lord Morrow Bill which aims to criminalize people who pay for sex. This study is meant to provide QUB with an understanding of the sex industry (i.e. who sells which services, where and why and to whom). This will hopefully inform the policy process in ways that improve the lives of those involved in the sex industry.

QUB researchers are looking for people to interview – both people who sell and buy sex. The interviews will be 100% confidential. They don’t need to know your real name. If they use quotes for information from the interview in the report it will be anonymised so that nobody knows who said it. If you have a preferred gender for the interviewer this can also be arranged

If you would like to get involved please contact James Copeland, Sexual Health Development Officer, on [email protected] or call 90319030. All information provided is confidential.

Thanks

James
