The Training for Women Network Ltd (TWN) invite tenders from suitably qualified persons to deliver heritage classes as part of our Heritage Lottery funded project which looks at the role and lives of women during the First World War – ROWW1.
The tutors will be required to work in the areas listed below.
- West Belfast
- Lurgan/Portadown
- Derry/L'Derry
- East Belfast
- Lisburn
- Rathcoole
The groups have to carry out research on women in their area, 3 of the women from each group will be identified, researched and included in a book; and 1-2 will form part of a travelling exhibition.
Tutor time and costs: 12 x 6 hr sessions per group (8 groups - this can be split into sessions to suit the group/tutor), @ £25 per hour including travel, preparation time and VAT.
Contract duration: 1 November 2016 – 31 March 2017.
Please provide a detailed tender outlining your prior knowledge, experience and past work in the areas of heritage/heritage research including your work in community settings and flexibility.
