Applications must address the theme of health in the local community and must demonstrate how their project raises awareness of health in the community, or promotes better health in the community or actively provides a solution to tackling health in the community.  Short term and long term projects will be considered and must commence no sooner than March 2013.

Basic Criteria

This competition is open to individuals aged between 11 and 21 only.  Clubs and organisations cannot apply; however, applications from individuals within a club/organisation setting are welcome to apply, providing the project is run separately from the club/organisation. Young people aged between 11 and 15 can only apply up to £500. Young People aged between 16 and 21 can apply for up to £1,500. Those aged between 11 and 17 must have parental permission and must work with an Advisor to assist in the project implementation. Funds will only cover project costs and not direct salaries.
