Participation and the Practice of Rights

The Participation and Practice of Rights organisation(PPR) invites Expressions of Interest in writing a number of 'Learning Pieces' on specific areas of their work. The deadline for Expressions of Interests is 1st April

PPR seeks to promote a society in which all people are accorded equal respect and dignity and their human rights upheld, protected and fulfilled by the State through their participation and active involvement in decisions affecting their lives.

Located in Belfast, since 2006 PPR has put the power of human rights at the service of those who need it most.  Using our unique Human Rights Based Approach (HRBA), PPR help marginalised groups use rights in practical ways to make real social and economic change in their communities.

As part of PPR’s current evaluation, PPR seeks to commission four distinct Learning Pieces’ which will reflect the core issues arising from the implementation of PPR’s approach.   At this stage we are seeking expressions of interest in writing the Learning Pieces.

Full details on the Learning Pieces and guidelines for Expressions of Interest are available at www.pprproject.org
