Participation and the Practice of Rights

Participation and the Practice of Rights (PPR) seeks to recruit 2 part time Sessional Project Workers who will be responsible for a number of key actions to complete the current phase of the Homeless Action project.

PPR works to put human rights at the service of marginalised people. PPR’s approach uses international human rights standards and tools to hold government accountable and create change through the meaningful participation of marginalised people in the decisions affecting their lives.

Simon Community NI and PPR established the Homeless Action Project as an initiative to educate and empower people accessing SCNI services, both hostel accommodation and in the community, about their rights and how to use them.

PPR seeks to recruit 2 part time Sessional Project Workers who will be responsible for a number of key actions to complete the current phase of the Homeless Action project.

Both roles are offered on a sub-contract basis and are funded @ circa 15hrs per week from January 2015 - 31st March 2015.  There is a maximum of £20 per hour available (this must include travel).
