Volunteer Recognition Awards 2014

Cookstown and Magherafelt Volunteer Centre today launched their first Volunteer Recognition Awards with a request for nominations.  The awards are open to volunteers of all ages who are contributing to their local community.

Michele McKeown, Volunteer Centre Co-ordinator stated, “The Volunteer Recognition Award is an ideal way for organisations to say thank you to their volunteers. Recognising contributions and commitment can help to maintain morale and ensure volunteers feel valued.”

Do you know a volunteer that deserves to be recognised? Nominations are now open and will close on 28 November 2014.

Nominations can be made online at www.cookstownmagherafeltvc.org or by calling into your local Volunteer Centre office.

 There is no limit to how many people you can nominate.

 The Volunteer Recognition Awards ceremony will take place on 5 December 2014, International Volunteer Day at InVOLve House, 16-18 Queen Street, Magherafelt, BT45 6AB 

The awards are supported by both Cookstown and Magherafelt District Councils.
