VIable Corporate Services welcome two new board members

VIable Corporate Services, a social enterprise providing corporate services and strategic planning consultancy to third sector organisations, has appointed two new members to their board of directors.

Trevor Anderson, Belfast Harbour and Maria Diffley, Business in the Community, both bring a broad range of skills and experience to the social enterprise, which works collaboratively with organisations to improve their financial and human resources so more time can be devoted to delivering outcomes. 
“It is always exciting to welcome new members to the board who bring with them a fresh perspective and a range of professional skills. I know that their service will provide tremendous benefits to both the board and to VIable,” said John McMullan, Chair of VIable’s board.

Their participation on the board will enhance our commercial focus, increase our impact and inspire innovation in the services we deliver.”
 Trevor Anderson, Operations Director at Belfast Harbour Commission An engineer by profession Trevor joined the Harbour in 2006 following 22 years at Bombardier in a number of roles including Head of Enterprise Systems based in Montreal, Canada.  In his current role Trevor is accountable for all aspects of day to day operations in the port of Belfast including, marine operations, police and security, maintenance and safety and environmental management.  Trevor has served as a Board member of the Nomadic Charitable Trust, Chairperson of the Nomadic Trading Company and was a Board member of Belfast Tall Ships 2009 and 2015. He is also a Member of the Institute of Directors. Maria Diffley, Business Development Executive at Business in the Community Maria spent many years working with the Irish Government and charities in Africa. She helped establish and drive forward a successful social enterprise in Swaziland South Africa, which is still running and supporting the local community today.
