Trinity's Volunteer Initiative

Trinity Housing has several very valued volunteers supporting Tenants and staff in sheltered housing schemes.

In recognition of the important role volunteers play in the lives of tenants Trinity is developing a volunteer strategy that will increase opportunities for existing and new volunteers.

In order to build on the added value volunteers bring a working group comprising of staff and volunteers has been set up that will drive this initiative over the coming months.  Trinity’s staff, tenants and volunteers will be supported by a volunteer strategy which will enable more volunteers to become involved in a wide range of projects from befriending to singing in a Trinity choir.

“Volunteering benefits individuals and communities and as Trinity strives to build sustainable communities we are delighted to have the support of volunteers.  Our volunteers have dedicated their time and energy to our tenants and in doing so have made friends, had fun and contributed to community building.  We are very excited to be developing our work with volunteers.”
