Studio Ghibli Anime 'Laputa:Castle in the Sky' announced as May CineSeekers Film at QFT

The Cinemagic 'CineSeekers Film Club' runs monthly screenings for young people, presenting a diverse and varied range of international children’s films.

Studio Ghibli’s first feature film Laputa:Castle in the Sky is a thrilling adventure set in an alternate 19th Century, and produces a high quality anime style that set the benchmark for the films that followed.

Film Synopsis:

Jumping overboard on a flying ship to avoid capture, Sheeta is rescued by her powerful crystal necklace which floats her down to safety. Sheeta longs to see Laputa, the castle in the sky, but the pirates are after its treasure and its secret powers.
