Safer Lone Working for Frontline Staff

Offering help to people in a work situation, often in difficult circumstances, doesn't have to mean taking risks. Feeling safe and well doesn't just extend to face-to-face work with clients, it includes telephone interactions with them as well. This practical, interactive and engaging workshop style training is designed to equip participants with thought provoking awareness raising tools and processes to improve their personal safety on the job, either on or off site. Who Should Attend: The course is designed for anyone working directly in a client facing role nand whose job role oftern requires that they work alone, visit clients, or deal with clients on the telephone. Fees: There is a charge of £30 to Advice Ni members, £45 to Voluntary & Community sector organisations and £65 to private & Statutory organisations CPD Hours: There are 3 CPD hours available for this course Education/Professional Framework: This course can be used as evidence towards a range of units in our Advice & Guidance NVQ's and Legal Advice qualifications including Develop and Manage Interviews with Clients. It is also linked to the National Occupational Standards for Legal Advisers including SFJ GC9: Contribute to the prevention and management of inappropriate behaviour.
