Post Graduate Course in Personal and Public Involvement in Health and Social Care

Applications are invited from health and social care and voluntary and community sector organisations for a new course in Personal and Public Involvement in Health and Social Care.

The course is aimed primarily at those who have strategic and lead responsibility for Personal and Public Involvement (PPI). This is an important area of study, and will support health and social care organisations to meet their objectives for patient and the public involvement in the planning and evaluation of services.

The Department will sponsor up to 18 places in the first year and allocation of places can be found detailed in Guidance on Selection below.

Successful applications will be invited to an induction and enrolment evening at QUB week beginning 7th September. Learning will take place over a five week period; this will consist of a study block of three day followed by a three week break and a further two days back in university.

  • Applications from the voluntary and community sector should be submitted to NICVA, CDHN or C03. The details of a successful nominee will be forwarded to Sharon Henry from each of the 3 umbrella organisations.
