Opening Doors and Unlocking Potential

Two regional charities (Voice Of Young People In Care and Include Youth) with a total of forty six years experience working with children and young people, came together today to celebrate the opening of their new offices at 25 Castle Street in Ballymena.

On Tuesday 30 June Paddy Mooney (Give & Take Scheme Manager, Include Youth) and Margaret McCormack (Chair, VOYPIC) officially opened the new Ballymena offices of Voice Of Young People In Care and Include Youth.

On offer at the new offices are:-
VOYPIC's Mentoring Project
VOYPIC's Advocacy Service
VOYPIC's Participation Project
Include Youth's Give & Take Scheme

A young person who has benefited from being involved with both organisations said "I used to be really shy and now, with help and support from VOYPIC and Include Youth, I can speak up and be heard. My confidence has grown lots."
