Older People's Groups take the 'First Steps to Funding' with free AgeNI workshops

Next free session focusing on 'Planning & Preparing for Funding' in Omagh 9th November, workshop on 'Understanding Applications' Armagh 20th November, Banbridge 21st November. Details from ej.havlin@ageni.org

Attempting to solve the mystery of successful applications for funding, will be the focus of the AgeNI workshop sessions in Armagh 20th November and Banbridge 21st November. The sessions focus on the questions asked in application forms, the assessment process and will give participants the chance to review real applications submitted to funders.  Workshops are aimed at older people's groups/groups working with older people.  EJ has worked as an assessor for a range of funding bodies on various programmes.  Contact: ej.havlin@ageni.org for more details.

The 'First Steps to Funding' Programme contains three sessions:

  • Session 1: Planning & Preparing for small grant funding;
  • Session 2: Making the Approach - Sources of Funding;
  • Session 3: Successful Applications.
