UTOPIA Using Technology Older People in Action: Your Invitation to Our Information Day

Over 60? Live in the Greater Andersonstown area? Feel you are not getting enough out of life? Do you feel you - or  - do you know someone else over 60 years who feels that they:

• are stuck in a rut at home?
• Would like to get out more? Meet new people?
• would love to make new friends?
• could enjoy life more?
• could make more use of the brain?
• would love to become more creative?
• would be interested in learning about computers and other technology

If so, you are invited to come to our Information Day in Tullymore Community Centre, BT11 8NE, on Wednesday 3rd September 2014 anytime between 10.00am - 12.00pm, OR between 2.00pm - 4.00pm OR between 6.00pm - 7.00pm, to see the variety of creative learning and social activities we have on offer. We will also give you a lovely cup of tea or coffee and show you how we can make all this learning fun and even make computers 'wee buns'.

Who can become involved in the UTOPIA project?

The BIG Lottery funded programme is for Men & Women aged 60+ years, living in the Greater Andersonstown area who:

• Are feeling lonely and who would like to become more involved with the wider
  community.
• Have little support from family/ friends and few opportunities for social & learning activities.
• Are Carers in the 60+ age group
• Are in the 60+ age group, do not meet the criteria above but would like to become involved in planning social activities and in passing on traditional  craft skills or computer skills to  others.
