Do you need new skills or training but don’t know how to get financial assistance? Looking for grants or subsidies can be confusing and make you feel like a piece in a jigsaw, having to check your fit and compatibility with the options available.
To help you solve this complex puzzle and find the perfect fit for your training needs, Lantra has compiled a list of schemes and organisations across Northern Ireland that are worth investigating. This includes various streams under:
- Rural Development Programme (RDP) Axes 1, 2 and 3
- Management Analysis Programme (MAP)
- Rapid Response NI
- Grants and funding available via the Department for Agriculture and Rural Development
- Invest NI
Information on these streams can be accessed at www.lantra.co.uk/funding.
David Seffen, Lantra Partnership Manager said: "It can be confusing and time consuming to find out what funding is available, but that’s exactly why Lantra has compiled a list of options for you.Training is important in today’s ever changing world and research has shown a return of between £3 and £6 for every £1 spent on training. Even if no funding support is available to you, don’t let this prevent you from making that investment in training for you and your staff."
