As part of the engage Community Planning Pilot Project in Omagh and Fermanagh District Council areas, Engage NI is hosting a conference which aims to bring delegates up to date with the proposed changes in Local Government to introduce Community Planning in Northern Ireland. It will provide some valuable insights from other regions into the workings and benefits of Community Planning in involving local communities in planning for the development of their area and in the design and delivery of public services.

This conference is free for all to attend and will be useful for all community & voluntary sector representatives, local councillors, council staff and public sector employees with responsibility for local service delivery planning or community engagement activity particularly within Fermanagh and Omagh District council areas.

The conference will involve guest speakers from community planning backgrounds from across the UK and Ireland and will take the format of presentations and workshops. A networking lunch will also be included.

To register your place on the conference or for more information, please contact Josephine on 9040 2296 or email [email protected]
