How to nominate your choice

Tell us in 200 words or less why the person you are nominating has made a difference in your life or the lives of others.  For each category, the nominee should have been in her line of work or position for at least 12 months and have shown particular success, a demonstrable measure of achievement.  Tell us how she inspired others around her and how she has demonstrated passion, drive and energy in what she does.


You may enter nominations in any of the nine categories.   The overall award for Belfast Telegraph Woman of the Year in association with Dixons of Coleraine will be chosen by the judges from the winners of the nine categories.  



Email your entries to
[email protected] or post to Woman of the Year, Belfast Telegraph, 122-124 Royal Avenue, Belfast, BT1 1DN by 12 noon on Monday 21st November 2011.

You entry should include the category you would like to enter and  both your own and your nominee's names, addresses and DAYTIME telephone numbers.


The winners will be announced at an award ceremony and gala dinner on Thursday  8th December at the Ramada Plaza Hotel, Shaw’s Bridge, Belfast.
