DMS in partnership with MindWise- Coaching for Mental Well-being Programme

The Coaching for Mental Wellbeing programme equips front line managers with the skills and knowledge to approach positive mental well-being in the workplace, to apply coaching tools and techniques and therefore maximise employee motivation and engagement.

DMS is delighted to announce the introduction of a NEW programme in partnership with Mindwise which will help organisations tackle the growing cost to their business of mental health issues in the workplace.

The Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) Absence Survey 2014 reported a staggering 43% of organisations have noticed an increase in reported mental health problems, such as anxiety and depression, among employees in the past 12 months. Therefore, the benefits for business that proactively engage with mental well-being include: employee motivation, greater staff retention rates, reduced absenteeism and increased competitiveness.

  • Be able to contribute to the development of coaching and mentoring for mental well-being capability within organisations.

  • Identify and explain coaching and mentoring models to support the development of mental well-being within your organisation

  • Act as a MHWB coach or mentor within your organization

  • Develop your own personal coaching style while studying associated areas such as the elements and values of a person and solution-focused coaching.

  • We identify the core competencies of a Mental Health and Wellbeing Coach and the use of these competencies in a good coaching session.
