An indoor event with dancing and some lunch for all age groups and abilities- from toddlers to grandparents.
Picnic without the weather worries!
Echo Echo Dance Theatre Company will be running another Dance Picnic on Saturday 28th November at 1.30pm in its dance studio based in the Waterside Theatre.
Previous picnics sometimes attracted over 50 people who all joined in dancing together, including mums, dads, kids, students, grandparents, friends and neighbours.
Dance Picnic is an indoor event where people are invited to come along, meet, dance and share some food. It is held on a Saturday afternoon and Echo Echo encourages everyone to come along and participate regardless of age, ability or experience level.
Because it is indoors, there is no need to worry about the weather!
The idea stems from the company's busy education programme which regularly sees parents, toddlers, children, young adults, elderly and people with disabilities dancing. Artistic Director, Steve Batts wanted to see these groups come together and enjoy dance and movement as a group.
The next Dance Picnic will be held on Saturday 28th November from 1.30pm to 4.30pm in the Echo Echo Dance Studio. It costs just £3 per person and everyone is asked to bring something to eat for lunch.
