NISRA is offering all voluntary and community organisations the opportunity to avail of the skills and services of the Agency's expert statisticians for the day, free of charge.

NISRA produces high quality statistics and research to government departments and public bodies, as well as disseminating information to its users, efficiently and effectively. The Agency's statisticians are skilled in numerous aspects of research, statistics, data collection, analysis, dissemination and management.

NISRA, to mark UN World Statistics Day, is offering a unique opportunity to have a NISRA statistician work for you, or with you, for the day, providing any help, training or advice that is required.

NISRA can help with:

  • database management
  • presentation of data
  • report writing
  • sampling methods
  • survey design, analysis and dissemination
  • survey harmonisation
  • where to find and how to use NI official statistics
  • analysis of administrative datasets
  • trend analysis and forecasting of data
  • understanding measures of spatial deprivation in Northern Ireland
  • research management
  • geographic information and how to use it
  • IT awareness - Excel, Access, SPSS
