We apologise for the site being down for a short time earlier today. CommunityNI was offline because of an unprecedented rise in spam user registrations. If you think your account may have been affected, please let us know.
CommunityNI experienced a sudden large volume of spam user registrations and it became necessary to take the site offline for a while earlier today. I apologise if you were inconvenienced at all. It is possible that some of your accounts have been affected and if this has happened, please let me know.
As a consequence of this we have also had to amend our registration process to include email verification, in order to prevent spammers from targeting our legitimate users.
CommunityNI is a site hosted for the benefit of the voluntary and community sector and registration is provided freely so that people working or interested in the sector can share news, events, opinions, etc. A directory of commercial products and services which may be of interest to the sector, with a system of peer review, is available at CommunityBuyer.
