Cinemagic – Festival Box Office/Sales Administrator and Festival Events Assistant – closing Monday 01/08/16

 

This is a 2 month freelance paid position (£2000 fee), working in the busy office of Cinemagic Belfast promoting and selling the festival events commencing on Monday 5th September and finishing on Monday 31st October 2016.

The Cinemagic box office administrator will be responsible for the recruitment of both school groups and the general public (families & young people) in relation to festival screenings, school workshops and special events.

The candidate will deliver the Cinemagic sales recruitment strategy.

The role will include:

  • Phoning Schools and Community Groups to generate sales and bookings
  • Promoting Festival Events
  • Event Coordination
  • Box Office Management
  • Advising customers on event information

Candidates will have at least one year’s experience in box office, sales, audience development and communication and demonstrate examples of working in an arts environment (it is essential candidates are confident in relation to telephone sales recruitment).

The successful candidate will be expected to have a can-do attitude, to be enthusiastic and work full time hours for the duration of the placement, 9.00am-5.00pm (as well as evenings/weekends when required during the festival).
