A BBC Radio Ulster Appeal on behalf of Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful

Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful works to make Northern Ireland a cleaner and better place in which to live.

The charity is involved in a range of environmental projects and activities. These include making people aware of the impact of litter on our countryside and beaches and tackling the problems associated with graffiti and dog fouling.

Education is a big part of the charity’s work. Its Eco-Schools initiative is an international environmental awareness programme and last year’s BIG Spring Clean was supported by over 105,000 volunteers.

Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful’s latest initiative is Live Here, Love Here. It’s about encouraging people to love where they live by doing something positive for the environment. You can pledge your support and find out more about what’s involved by visiting liveherelovehere.org
