Youth Engagement Worker - Part Time

Provide a presence and raise the profile of CYP and its Do Something Pilot throughout the designated target areas.

Promote membership engagement with the Organisation and the Do Something Pilot.

As part of a youth work team, to support and quality assure the design, delivery, co-ordination and evaluation of CYP's Do Something project activities and events and to ensure that all activities are compliant with current legislation; that CYP Policy and best practice is maintained at the optimum level in relation to all work with young people.

Ensure that the Organisation and its activities consistently promote a message of positive community relations

To facilitate and develop youth participation in decision-making, though building positive relationships with young people.

To create awareness of and signpost for services for young people on a range of issues including employability, drugs and alcohol abuse, sexual health etc.

To maximise and enhance youth and membership engagement by utilising and developing electronic communication platforms, networks and other appropriate forums for CYP’s members & target groups.

To ensure that regular (weekly) meetings with project participants and CYP staff are properly co-ordinated, scheduled and reported.
