YEHA Project, in partnership with Streetbeat Youth Project, require experienced, a skilled & committed Youth Worker to work with young people in North Belfast to support their learning, skills & personal development through our new ASPIRE project.

The ‘ASPIRE to succeed’ Project is a partnership project involving Streetbeat Youth Project and YEHA Youth Project. The aim of 'ASPIRE To Succeed' project is to provide tailored support for young people aged 13 - 18 at risk of becoming detached from mainstream education and drifting into the group classified as not in education employment or training (NEET). The project will offer a range of supports to young people, Services will include a programme of focused groupwork, training, mentoring and life coaching, with the aim of providing young people with motivation, a sense of purpose, the skills to address barriers and issues that they encounter, and systems to support each other.

The ‘Youth Empowerment Worker’; will lead and manage delivery of the project and will be supported in the delivery of the project by a ‘Youth Support Worker’. The post is a fixed term contract until 2022. The Youth Empowerment Worker will be based at YEHA premises, ABC Trust, Old St Gemma's School, 51-59 Ardilea Street, Belfast.

It is anticipated interviews will take place on Friday 6th October 2017.
