The postholder will support existing programmes and volunteers, work with other departments within EBM, and work with community organisations to ensure that the programmes are integrated into the wider community provision for young people from the local area.

The ideal candidate will have:

A relevant degree and/or three years experience with youth work at a community level

Ability to strategically plan and develop youth and children’s programmes

Experience managing and developing large groups of volunteers

Ability to demonstrate an understanding of links between youth work and community development work
