WEB DEVELOPER

Full-time, fixed-term three year post.

Salary equivalent to NJC pay scale points 29-31 (£24,646 - £27,276). Candidates will normally be appointed at the start of the pay scale.

The Web Developer will liaise with NICVA units, member organisations, statutory bodies, social partners, academics, the private sector and other information providers in the development of new features and functionality for the NICVA family of websites.

Applicants must have minimum two years working experience to include work in each of the following areas: developing and extending websites and web applications using CSS, XHTML, JS, PHP, MySQL; contributing at all web project stages including generating ideas and vision through to support and long term development phases; conducting robust testing regimes and implementing development plans in response to user requirements, usability testing outcomes and site metrics; implementing intuitive and contemporary user interface designs.
