35.00

This is an exciting opportunity to join Guide Dogs NI as a Volunteering Consultant for a 10 month fixed term contract. Your role will be to support our Volunteer Managers to recruit, retain and recognise the valuable contribution of our Volunteers.

In 2017 we aim to retain our Investing in Volunteers accreditation for the second time and you will play a key role in supporting the Belfast team to meet and maintain the required standards. You will also play an important role in establishing a “hub and spoke” model of volunteering to support the growth of our My Guide (sighted guiding) service.

This role will require a significant degree of organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities. In return, you can expect to work as part of a highly motivated team in delivering real change for people who live with the impact of sight loss.
