Voluntary Trustee

Extra Care is a not for profit voluntary organisation established in 1935. We are registered with the Charity Commission and regulated by RQIA as a Domiciliary Care Provider.  All of our Care Workers are registered with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council.

Extra Care is overseen by its voluntary Board of Trustees and is the largest independent provider of Domiciliary Care in Northern Ireland with over 80 years experience in the management and delivery of a full range of community based home care services. Our services, which are available 24/7, aim to give people the choice to remain living at home through the provision of high quality care.

 Voluntary Board Members

We are seeking to recruit Board Members who would identify with and champion our Purpose, Vision and Values and who have skills, knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas: 

• Clinical, Health and Social Care
• Finance
• Marketing
• IT
