Helm is seeking to recruit new members to the Board to support our work addressing housing need, and who can:
• Provide challenge, scrutiny and support, sensitively and effectively to improve performance;
• Exercise sound judgement in terms of operational, financial and reputational risks;
• Build and maintain the confidence of staff, tenants and external stakeholders.
Board members are not remunerated although travel and out of pocket expenses are paid.
Board Members have a vital role to play in the provision of good governance and strategic business planning at Helm and we will provide full induction training and ongoing support to members to fulfill this challenging role. Applications are particularly welcome from people with relevant experience in Treasury, Accountancy, Corporate Law, Private sector business (Senior Executive) and Social Care / Support (Senior Executive).
Helm is also seeking to strengthen its Audit & Risk Committee by recruiting an individual with specific skills, competencies, experience and knowledge.
Committee members are not remunerated although travel and out of pocket expenses are paid.
Applications are welcome from people with experience in Audit and Risk Management.
