The postholder will work as part of EBM’s furniture restoration team to repair and restore items donated through our second-hand furniture shops – re:store. Items will then be sold through the re:store shops and profits go towards the wider work of EBM.

The postholder will work as part of EBM’s furniture restoration team. The overall aim of the project is to repair and restore items donated through our second-hand furniture shops – re:store. Items will then be sold through the re:store shops and profits go towards the wider work of EBM.

The successful candidate will be required to have:

  1. Proven experience in all aspects of upholstery including
  • refurbishing
  • reupholstering

2. Experience of supervising staff

3. Excellent design and creativity skills

4. Excellent oral and written communication skills

5. A good level of technical ability to deal with the detailed and delicate nature of the work

6. Ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative
