What’s this about?

NCB is a children’s charity.  We have been given money by the Big Lottery Fund to support other organisations who work with children and young people under the Empowering Young People’s Programme.  This Big Lottery Fund Programme gives young people in Northern Ireland aged 8-25 the ability to cope with challenges in their lives.  We want to offer a part-time paid internship opportunity to a young person to join our team.

What is an internship?

An internship is a period of work experience that lasts for a limited period for people who are trying to gain relevant workplace skills and experience. 

Who can apply?

Any young person who is:

  • Aged 16-24 years
  • Interested in getting some valuable work experience in a children’s charity
  • Willing to work 14 hours/week for 6 months
