£19,621-£21,519 pro rata
30 hours, permanent
The post holder will deliver an outreach, home visiting play service to Traveller families and children aged 0-4 years to support the children’s optimal development using the Highscope methodology. The role of parent as the child’s first educator will be developed and support will be tailored to meet the individual needs of parents. The access and inclusion of Traveller children into education will be enhanced by the staff member working in partnership with Traveller families, practitioners and other relevant agencies. The post holder will engage with a range of stakeholders aimed at improving policies and services for Traveller children and families and will be responsible for feeding into the project management on Toybox developments.
