TENANCY SUPPORT OFFICER - BASED IN BELFAST/ARMAGH

To provide ongoing tenancy support to clients accommodated by the Smartmove Scheme. The emphasis of the service is to faciltiate tenants develop the skills and confidence in which to manage and maintain their tenancies effectively.

Based in Belfast Three days per week/ based in Armagh Two days per week

37.5 hours per week

Salary:  £17,133 per annum

Essential Criteria:

  • At least one year's recent experience of working in a housing advice/support environment
  • Working knowledge of welfare benefits, community development and homelessness
  • Hold a driving licence and have access to a car.  (Can be waived in the case of applicatn whose disability prohibits diriving, but who is able to organise suitable alternative arrangements).

Contract duration is until 31st March 2013, extension beyond this date is subject to funding.

(It is anticipated that interviews will be held on or around 14th September in our Belfast Office).
