TELEPHONE CARER

 Contract Type: Fixed term – until 31st December 2015

Hrs. of work: 18.5 hrs. per wk. between 8.00am & 11.45 am Mon-Thurs; 8am-11.30am Fri.

Hourly Rate: £7.43 per hr.

This is a free community-based good neighbour service which provides support to older and vulnerable people in South and East Belfast through a daily Telephone service, a Befriending service and an Advice service.

 We are looking for someone who has experience of working with older/vulnerable people in a paid or voluntary capacity; have an understanding of the needs of the various service users; understand the issues surrounding confidentiality; have excellent communication skills (written and oral); can use their initiative and are computer literate.
