Team Leaders TL/10/17

Hours:                        Full Time – 37 hours per week (Permanent)

Salary:                        £17,072 - £19,430 per annum

Location:                    Ballycastle

In addition, we wish to compile a waiting list for similar vacancies which may arise in the next 12 months in the Coleraine, Ballymoney and Ballymena Areas.

Essential criteria:-

• Applicants must have NVQ Level II in Health and Social Care or equivalent
• Willing to undertake QCF (Qualifications & Credit Framework) Level III
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a care/support role
• Must register with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) upon appointment (if not already registered)

Desirable Criteria:-

• NVQ Level III (in Health & Social care or equivalent)
• Experience of supervising staff
• Previous experience of providing care/support to individuals with learning disabilities/complex needs including autism and challenging behaviour

Due to the nature of these roles, the successful candidates will be subject to Enhanced Access Northern Ireland (ANI) checks.  In addition, successful candidates will be required to register with NISCC (Northern Ireland Social Care Council) upon commencement of employment, if not already registered.
