To work with service users and co-ordinate the staff team to deliver high quality personal care and housing support services to individuals with a learning disability/challenging behaviour, enabling them to lead a full and integrated life in the community
Essential criteria:-
- Applicants must have RQF (QCF) Level II in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Willing to undertake RQF Level III
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a care/support role
- Must register with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) prior to commencement of employment (if not already registered)
Desirable Criteria:-
- RQF/QCF Level III (in Health & Social care or equivalent)
- Experience of supervising staff
- Previous experience of providing care/support to individuals with learning disabilities/complex needs including autism and challenging behaviour
Due to the nature of these roles, the successful candidates will be subject to Enhanced Access Northern Ireland (ANI) checks. In addition, successful candidates will be required to register with NISCC (Northern Ireland Social Care Council) prior to commencement of employment, if not already registered.
