Systems Accountant (fixed term)

Fold and Helm Housing Associations are planning to merge their businesses to create a social enterprise of GBP 75 million turnover, employing 950 staff and supporting around 30,000 customers.  An integration team will oversee the bringing together of business processes, systems and people.  This will ensure the newly merged entity maintains the current high standards of service whilst providing a platform for growth and the development of new services.  The Systems Accountant will take the lead in delivering the merger integration project within the Finance Directorate.

The post is initially for 12 months, with possible extension

Hours: 37 hours per week

Essential Criteria:

• Full member of a recognised accountancy body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA CIPFA or equivalent).
• IT Literate, including extensive experience of Finance Information Systems and associated reporting packages.
  And
  A minimum of 3 years' (obtained within the last 5 years) of process mapping, redesign and transition of new IT systems.
• Current driving licence and provision of a vehicle (or means to execute mobility aspects of role).
• Experience of project management tools.
