The Cedar Foundation is seeking to recruit the following staff members:

Support Worker – Supported Living Services        Ref:   12/36/SWSLS/WEB

The Support Worker is part of the team whose function is to meet the practical, physical and emotional needs of individuals in receipt of services within the Cedar Foundation Supported Living Schemes.
Through a key worker system, he/she will also have involvement in the designing of individual programmes of support and be responsible for delivering the accommodation support and care packages.

Hours:            30 hours per week
Salary:            Three point scale commencing at £6.54.per hour
Contract:        Permanent.
Location:        Hillmount, 104 Finaghy Road South, Belfast BT10 0DE
                         Ardkeen, 86 Marlborough Park North, Belfast BT9 6HL
Essential:        Numeracy & literacy (English language) skills.
Maths and English GCSE at Grade C or above (or equivalent).  
Registered or applying for registration with the N. Ireland Social Care Council
Demonstrable evidence of 6 months experience of providing physical care / support for individuals within the last 2 years.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.  
Ability to meet travel requirements
Desirable:        NVQ 2 (Health & Social Care) or equivalent.
English & Maths to GCSE grade C or equivalent.
