The Support Worker is part of the team whose function is to meet the practical, physical and emotional needs of individuals in receipt of services within the Cedar Foundation Supported Living Schemes.
The Cedar Foundation wishes to recruit Support Worker who will have involvement in the designing of individual programmes of support and be responsible for delivering the accommodation support and care packages.

Hours: 20 - 28 Hours per Week
Contract: Permanent Contract
Location: West Belfast
Hourly Rate: 3 point scale commencing on £7.15
Essential:
- Numeracy & literacy (English language) skills.
- English GCSE at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
- Registered or agreeable to applying for registration with the N. Ireland Social Care Council.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Job References.
Desirable:
- NVQ 2 (Health & Social Care) or equivalent.
- Maths to GCSE grade C or equivalent.
- Demonstrable evidence of 6 months experience of providing physical care / support for individuals within the last 2 years.
- Knowledge of the needs of the client group(s).
