The Support Worker is part of the team whose function is to meet the practical, physical and emotional needs of individuals in receipt of services within the Cedar Foundation Supported Living Schemes.
Through a key worker system, he/she will also have involvement in the designing of individual programmes of support and be responsible for delivering the accommodation support and care packages.
Hours: 30 hours per week - Rota Based
Hourly Rate: 3 point scale commencing at;
Point 1 - £6.61
Point 2 - £6.81
Point 3 - £7.02
Candidates with NVQ Level 2 will commence on point 2 of the scale
Contract: Permanent
Location: West Belfast
Essential:
- English GCSE at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
- Registered or applying for registration with the N. Ireland Social Care Council.
- Demonstrable evidence of 6 months experience of providing physical care / support for individuals within the last 2 years
Desirable:
- NVQ 2 (Health & Social Care) or equivalent
- Maths to GCSE grade C or equivalent
