Support Worker

The Cedar Foundation is seeking to recruit the following staff member:

Support Workers -                                      Ref: 17/155/SW/WEB

Residential & Supported Living Services

The Support Workers for residential and supported living services will work as part of the team whose function it is to meet the practical, physical and emotional needs of individuals who receive support and care from the Cedar Foundation Living Options Service.

Hours:                       Various part and full time roles (day and night shifts available)

Salary:                       £7.65 per hour

Contract:                  Permanent, Variable contracts available

Location:                 West and South Belfast

Essential:                  

• ·         Numeracy & literacy (English language) skills.
• ·         Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• ·         Job References
• ·         Demonstrable evidence of 6 months experience of providing physical care / support for individuals within the last 2 years.
• ·         Valid Work Permit

Desirable:                

• ·         NVQ 2 (Health & Social Care) or equivalent.
• ·         English & Maths to GCSE grade C or equivalent.
