The Croft Community

The Croft Community provides residential, supported living, respite and day care services for adults with learning disabilities in a homely environment where each person has the opportunity to grow and develop towards their full potential.

 

This is a great opportunity to be part of a team that provide quality care and support for adults with learning disabilities. We provide a range of people centered services that enable adults with learning disabilities to live meaningful and fulfilling lives within their community.

We may have a number of post so the hours may vary from 20 to 30 hours per week and will be part of a three week rota scheme which includes mornings, evenings, weekends and overnights. The rate of pay is £7.80 per hour with 5.6 weeks holidays increasing to 6 weeks after 2 years service (includes statutory days), auto-enrolemt pension scheme, full training and a great environment to work within.

Essential Criteria:

      • Williningness to learn if no past experience in the caring field
      • Good team player yet has ability to work independently
      • Good written and communication skills
      • Ability to work in an ever-changing environment with care and support needs changing regularly            

 Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in the caring industry
  • Basic Computer and email skills
  • Driver
