SKILLS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (ACCREDITATION) (Ref: SDO (A)'10)

Full-time, fixed-term 12 month post (it is envisioned that this post will be extended subject to funding). Salary equivalent to NJC pay scale point 29, £24,646.

Full-time, fixed-term 12 month post (it is envisioned that this post will be extended subject to funding). Salary equivalent to NJC pay scale point 29, £24,646.

The Skills Development Officer will work with accrediting bodies such as Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) and City and Guilds to coordinate the accreditation process and maintain records for accreditation. The role also includes training delivery, one to one consultancy and support and provision of effective administrative records for NICVA's training and development. 

Applicants must hold a professional training qualification (level three or above), and have a minimum of two years' working experience in the design and delivery of training and skills development opportunities.

Candidates will also be expected to hold assessor awards with experience of assessing against training standards and be able to demonstrate experience of running accredited training programmes and all associated administration.

This post is part funded by the Big Lottery Fund.
