Parenting NI is seeking expressions of interest from those who would like to be Sessional Workers, working as and when required to
- To consult with parents across Northern Ireland on a range of strategies and policies on behalf of Government and other bodies
and/or
- To deliver parenting programmes across Northern Ireland
Those interested should have:
- Qualification at NVQ Level 3 or above (or equivalent qualification) in Health, Social Care, Child Care, Community/Youth Work or Training and Development
- OCN Level 3 in facilitator skills (Parenting Education only)
- At least 3 years experience in working with parents delivering parenting programmes (Parenting Education only)
- At least 3 years experience of work in the field of Child Care, Parenting Education or Family Support
- Proven experience of facilitating groups
- Experience of producing quality reports
